Mitra Abbasi featured on Wall of Women in Engineering

We are very proud to see that Mitra Abbasi has been featured on the University of Sheffield Women in Engineering’s Wall of Women, an inspirational website showcasing talented female engineers.

Mitra Abbasi completed her PhD in Computational System Biology at the University of Sheffield’s Department of Computer Science under the supervision of Professor Richard Clayton. Mitra has since joined Simcyp at Certara as a Research Scientist. Richard Clayton commented, “I first met Mitra as an MSc student in the Department of Computer Science 9 years ago, and it has been a pleasure to see her career develop first as a PhD student and now through her work with Certara.”  Certara is a leading decision support technology and consulting organization committed to optimizing drug development and improving health outcomes.
