The Centre for Orthopaedic Biomechanics at the University of Bath is holding its next ‘Bath Biomechanics Symposium’ on 11th September 2017.
The theme for this year’s symposium will be:
Spine Biomechanics –Injury mechanisms, degenerative disorders and treatments
The centre has secured three very distinguished Keynote Speakers and a fourth keynote speaker will be confirmed soon.
Call for Papers:
Submissions are invited, from researchers and clinicians, which address any relevant musculo-skeletal research relating to the spine. In particular we are keen to also attract anyone with experience in sports related spinal injuries, this is a research theme at Bath relating to cervical injury in rugby.
Following the format from last year the session before lunch will be devoted to “Three Minute Poster Pitches” to encourage PhD students and other researchers to submit posters to be viewed during the lunch and coffee breaks. The format for the poster pitch presentations will be a maximum of three slides to give an overview of the poster.
The deadline for Abstract submission is 28 July 2017
